Privacy Policy

Jesus Whispers is a quiet sanctuary. We collect as little personal information as possible, never sell your data, and never share what you whisper in the Prayer Room with anyone.

• Prayer intentions you submit — stored anonymously, with no name, email, IP address, or device identifier attached.
• Local preferences — small settings like "auto‑play next reflection" are saved in your browser's localStorage on your device. They never leave your device.
• Basic technical logs — our hosting provider keeps short‑lived server logs (request times, error traces) to keep the app running. These are deleted on a rolling basis.

• We don't require you to create an account.
• We don't track you across other websites or apps.
• We don't run advertising trackers or third‑party analytics that profile you.
• We don't sell, rent, or trade your data — ever.

Some pages embed audio from Spotify so you can play songs inline. When you press play, Spotify may set its own cookies and process listening data under Spotify's Privacy Policy. Scripture links open BibleGateway, and saint biographies link to Wikipedia and other public sources — those sites have their own privacy policies.

Intentions submitted in the Prayer Room are stored without any identifier tying them back to you and are never displayed publicly to other visitors. Only the steward of this sanctuary reads them, and they are held in prayer in confidence. Even so, please don't include personal information about yourself or anyone else in your intention text.

Jesus Whispers is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

The Jesus Whispers iOS and Android apps request only the permissions needed to function — typically network access and background audio playback. We do not access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or calendar.

You can clear locally stored preferences at any time by clearing your browser's site data, or by reinstalling the app. To request deletion of a specific prayer intention, use our intention deletion form or email us with enough detail to identify the entry.

Jesus Whispers uses Google AdSense to display advertisements that help support this sanctuary. Google may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits here and other sites. Google collects and uses data about your browsing to personalise ads.

You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's privacy policy and control personalised ads through Google Ad Settings. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For material changes, we'll surface a notice in the app for a reasonable period.
